Open Positions

Assistant Controller

Assistant Controller is responsible for key financial processes that are important to the overall success of YBLC. As the assistant controller you will work on a small team in a fast paced, non-profit environment. Proficient knowledge of general accounting principles (nonprofit accounting principles a plus), working independently, and the ability to find answers in published resources when necessary will lead to success in this role. You will work directly with the finance director to provide accurate financial data to present to the executive director and board of directors that is used to drive future organizational decisions.

AmeriCorps Construction Trainer

The AmeriCorps Construction Aide position is responsible for helping to build and guide a team of youth, ages 17-24, capable of safely building and refurbishing houses designated for low-income individuals. In addition, the member will provide support, guidance and encouragement in the development of youth leadership and personal development skills.

Program Manager - Outcomes

The YouthBuild Lake County (YBLC) Program Manager – Outcomes touches every aspect of the YouthBuild (YB) program, under the supervision of the Executive Director, to ensure achievement of various performance measures. As the Program Manager – Outcomes, you should have a big-picture perspective of YBLC programs and assist in ensuring program productivity and efficiency.
