Open Positions

Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant is responsible for key financial processes that are important to the overall success of YBLC. As the staff accountant, you will work on a small team in a fast-paced environment. Proficient knowledge of general accounting principles, working independently, and the ability to find answers in published resources when necessary, will lead to success in this role. You will work directly with the finance director to provide accurate financial data presented to the executive director and board of directors and drive future organizational decisions.

Supportive Services Manager

The Supportive Services Manager will assist the organization with ensuring program productivity and efficiency. Candidates will work with others across the organization to evaluate, determine, and provide solutions to YBLC’s ongoing needs. Candidates should have the ability to plan and maintain work systems, procedures, and policies that enable and encourage the optimum performance for the organization, stakeholders and most, importantly, our youth.

Program Assistant/Driver

The Program Assistant/Driver will work directly with the Education Manager to support the programs at YouthBuild, including picking up and dropping off participants, staff, volunteers, and materials. The Program Assistant will communicate with staff, participants, donors, and volunteers and maintain records as directed.

AmeriCorps Construction Aid

The AmeriCorps Construction Aid will assist YouthBuild in building and maintaining positive relationships, development, and training of leadership skills among students. Candidates should have an in-depth knowledge of basic construction skills and proper use of tools. Candidates will also be responsible for overall safety enforcement.
