Make a Donation

YouthBuild Lake County actively works to fight social inequities and bridge the opportunity gap for underserved young adults in Lake County. We have helped over 800 youth in our community become self-sufficient. Your donation will be used to support youth as they secure their high school diploma, learn marketable career skills, earn industry recognized credentials, and land their first job.

In-Kind Donations

Professional Attire
Many of our members and alumni need proper professional attire. Items such as blouses, dress shirts, blazers, dress pants, suits, ties, and professional footwear are all accepted. To coordinate a donation, please contact us at 847.473.3483 or email

Construction Tools + Materials
Finish a construction project and have tools or leftover materials? We accept those as donations! Tools such as hammers, saws, pliers, wrenches, and power tools are just a few examples of what we need. We also accept materials such as paint brushes, wood, nails/screws, and tape measurers. If you have any questions, or to coordinate a donation, contact us at 847.473.3483 or email

Donate Your Vehicle

If you have a vehicle that you no longer need, consider donating it to YouthBuild Lake County. The vehicle does not need to be in working condition. All you have to do is schedule the pick-up and the rest is taken care of for you! We partner with AudoServ to accept vehicle donations. Donated vehicles are sold at auction and the proceeds benefit YBLC.

‘Knowing that I could make a contribution to YouthBuild Lake County by donating my vehicle was amazing. Working through AudoServ to make my donation was an effortless process. Along with many other ways to donate, I highly recommend vehicle donation as a means to give to a great cause and organization.’ – Kay Kneeland
